Respect is an immensely important part of sexual health. It includes respect for youself and your own body, your limits, boundaries, thoughts, feelings and health, as well as those of your partner/s. Sexual relationships where all partners respect themselves and each other is something that in so important because it can have positive impacts on other elements of sexual health like safety, mental health and physical health, just as there can be negative impacts on these parts when respect in sexual relationships does not exist.
