WOW! What a night! STYLEAID Icon 20 was the perfect way to celebrate and say farewell to what has become an iconic fashion fundraising event in Perth.

VIP guests arrived at the glamorous Crown Towers from 6pm and were welcomed for pre drinks, entertained with multiple activation stalls and tempted into purchasing Tombola prizes. Black tie guests began arriving soon after, and the red carpet media wall saw an influx of glamour and fashion as numerous photographers snapped up the action.

The doors were opened and guests found their way into the grand ballroom, with a huge catwalk forming an X across the room, gorgeous floral arrangements, and big media screens lighting up the room. Guests recieved complimentary cocktails as the beautiful Ali Bodycoat opened the night with a song.

The night was kicked off with hosts Cassie Silver and Matt Tinney opening the night, and a delicious entree was served. Then, what we'd all been waiting for - the fashion parade!  Models flaunted 20 iconic fashion pieces from Perth designers, and strutted their stuff down the catwalk to some well loved tunes. Next, the WA Ballet Company put on an amazing performance, before it was time for guests to mingle and then sit down for their main course.

After dinner, the hosts directed our attemtion to a moving clip from the short film "Sharing the Journey", which featured people living with HIV telling their stories about what it's like to live with the virus. This really drove home what the night was about, and what the WA AIDS Council do within the community. It was the perfect time to begin the auction - each item was announced and the auctioneer ramped everyone up, with guests bidding against each other in hope of securing a prize (including designer gowns, jewellery, a dining and accomodation package, artwork, an exclusive cinema experience, and a pamper package). The artwork was the most popular auction item, with the successful guest bidding up to $10,500.00 to ensure they would be taking it home! Overall, over $50,000.00 was raised from the auction and the tombola

After all the excitement, it was time for another performance, and it wouldn't be STYLEAID without the Drag Queens! - They blew us away with their costumes, makeup and and colourful feathers. Last but not least, the finale - 50 models graced the catwalk for one last time, as we paid tribute to all those lost along the way, and the STYLEAID committee bid us farewell. The dessert buffet was opened and the DJ encouraged everyone to get up on the catwalk and have a dance. As the night wrapped up, guests started to trickle out to collect their gift bags and jump on the shuttle bus to Connections Nightclub for the after party.
